TEXAS – Committee Finds Cinco Ranch HOA Board Violated State Law, Association Procedures
Katy – This is the second in a series of stories detailing allegations of misconduct on the part of some members of the Cinco Ranch Residential Property Association Board of Directors.
After Cinco Ranch Residential Property Association Board Member Morgan Stagg raised concerns over the board’s actions in implementing a new fee on residents who receive a third deed restriction notice, the ensuing fallout led to the creation of a special committee to review the board’s actions.
The Governance Issues Work Group was charged with looking into Stagg’s allegations the board acted in appropriately in implementing the fee without first having the fee reviewed by the board’s attorney. Read more:

HOUSTON (FOX 26) -The threat last summer was wildfires. They scorched a path of destruction turning homes into little more than soot and ash.

Dead raccoons dumped in the driveway, vulgar racist signs hung from trees, reckless shotgun blasts, a monkey doll hanging from a gate, and a tractor repeatedly blocking the passage of a special education school bus.
These were just some of the extreme measures Danny Eldridge used to try and drive his new neighbors out of the Flying R Ranch, a private development in Comal County, according to Michael and Leanna Risenmay.
NEVADA – Former HOA board member pleads guilty to conspiracy charge
Another defendant pleaded guilty Monday in the sweeping federal investigation into fraud and corruption at Las Vegas Valley homeowners associations.
Arnold Myers, a straw buyer and former homeowners association board member, entered a guilty plea to one count of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. Read more:

KELLER – Some residents in the Hidden Lakes subdivision in Keller say that the homeowners association board “fired” most of its volunteers without warning and is barring residents from board meetings.
Those residents also complain that the developer is using HOA money to pay for landscaping services from a developer-owned company instead of seeking bids and also using association money to make repairs that are the developer’s responsibility.
After numerous attempts to reach the two developer-appointed board members, Elby Beal and James Gresset, and the management company, Premier Communities, a response was sent via email calling all the allegations “completely false.” Read more:
