HOA Reform Rally at Texas Capitol – Feb 15

IT’S TIME for CHANGE! Join the Coalition for HOA Reform Rally on the South steps of the Capitol in Austin on February 15, 2011. There will be a Press Conference at 12 Noon. Please try to arrive at 10:00 am so that we may gather for instructions and material. Handouts will be available for homeowners to take to their legislators listing the changes needed.
Homeowners will be able to visit their senators and representatives to voice their personal concerns and need for change!

I am interested in knowing what proposed Bill’s are in committee for this Secession. Can you send something to me? Is the plan for the trip to visit with legislators or attend committee hearings?
Or both? I have appeared before a Committee many years ago. I was`lucky’ to be the first speaker,
my comments and q & a lasted 20 minutes when the rule of procedure was to have a 3 or 5 minute limit. I contacted several state Senators and House members in the metro area over a period of three years. This was during the time that the foreclosure case for a few hundred dollors of un-paid
dues againist a 80 year old woman got so much attention with Senator Lyndsys got involved. Unfortunately, nothing was accomplished as to any reform.
